Lion Laxmi

Lion Laxmi Chaudhary was born and raised in Sunsari, Nepal. She completed her High School in Sunsari and graduated in Business Management from  Kathmandu , Nepal. 

Lions Involvement 

• Lion Laxmi joined Lions Club International in 2002 in Nepal . Then she moved to the USA in 2003. Laxmi Joined Berkeley Annapurna Lions Club in 2006 as a Charter Member and Joint Secretary. 
• She served as Club President of the year 2012 -2013 of Berkeley Annapurna Lions Club.
• She served as Club Secretary ,Club Treasurer, Club Membership Chairperson and Service Chairperson several  times.
• She worked as Coordinator of Student Speaker Contest, Blood Drive Program and fund-Raising event  in Club level 
• She worked as coordinator of Medical Mission for Nepal 
• She is the Guiding Lion of Berkeley Makalu.
• She was Specialty Club Coordinator,  Lions Club International 
• Laxmi served as Zone Chair ,Region Chair,Hunger Chairperson and District Administrative Assistant for Speciality Clubs of District 4-C3
• She was Awarded the MD4 Excellent Pin  in 2013 
• Laxmi received the International President’s  Certificate of Appreciation  in 2013 from International President Brian Sheehan. He was International Director  at that time , in 2017  from International President Gudrun Yngvadottir, in 2018  from  International Director Don Noland and in 2021 from International Directors  Dr. Jose Marrerofrom  of Lions Club International.
• Laxmi worked as Computer Teacher at Modern   Preparatory Secondary Boarding School Itahari  and as accountant for Contempo Wear Pvt  Ltd  and her own Transportation  Company   in Nepal .
• Laxmi is running Restaurant Business and working in Fast Biz LLC (Accounting and Tax Preparation office)  in Berkeley. 

Beside Lions Club Internationals she is also involve in Nepalese Organization  as Advisor of NWGN (Nepalese Women Global Network )  California Chapter, and  Treasurer of Nepal Endogenous  Federation Society California USA.. Lion Laxmi has been married to her Husband Khil for 39 years and Live in El Sobrante  California with husband Khil  Narayan , 3 sons, Utsav, Ujwal and Prajwal ,3 daughter In-laws  Pasang, Riza, Neha & 2 Grandchildren Norah and Norden.

Her Home Club Berkeley Annapurna Lions Club has endorsed her as the candidate  for 2nd VDG Governor for the year 2023-2024
